These community lists are not certified by textbook publishers and do not specify textbook revision years or authentic unit boundaries. Retaining the upstream license does not establish publisher endorsement.

Runtime adaptation is in ../catalog.py (actual file: app/catalog.py): normalize whitespace and apostrophe shapes; reject entries outside supported English spelling; preserve Chinese definitions and source US pronunciation; convert stress punctuation; fill missing IPA by constituent-word readings only when all components are available. Composed phrase readings are citation forms, not connected-speech transcriptions. Missing IPA entries remain available for listening but are omitted from IPA spelling. Invalid/skipped counts are exposed in catalog metadata.
